When entrepreneur David Cox spotted a bathroom created by Test Valley Kitchens and Bathrooms on social media it was the first step to a creation worthy of his West Reading home.

David takes up the story:

“Having seen examples of Test Valley Kitchens and Bathrooms’ work on social media I contacted Ray Goodridge to arrange an appointment to come in and discuss our bathroom project. 

I filled out the enquiry form on the website on a weekend and I was impressed that Ray responded very quickly that same day and we arranged the appointment at a time to suit us, Ray was very accommodating.

When Ray arrived, he came with many examples of previous works and catalogs, which he left with us so that we could get an idea as to the items we would like to have within our bathroom. 

Ray took measurements and listened to us as to our requirements, we then arranged to meet at a bathroom showroom so as we could see examples of finished bathrooms, Ray met us there and took us through all the possibilities.

Ray then produced some visuals and costs as per our choices and what would be achievable. He guided us throughout the initial process including bathroom fittings and tiles.

Once costs and final drawings were approved, we got a start date for the work to commence. On the morning of the agreed date the bathroom contractors turned up and laid protection on our stair and landing carpets and began the removal of the old bathroom fittings.

Throughout the build, the contractors were extremely polite, tidy and kept us informed every step of the way.

Ray was always responsive when I needed him to discuss changes and alterations and was very accommodating to all our needs and never found anything too much of a problem, just dealt with all we put before him.

The quality of the materials and workmanship was first class, and I could not recommend Ray and his team more highly.

The bathroom was completed on time and on the budget agreed, there were no hidden extras as all costs were clearly laid out before the bathroom was started.”
