“He made an appointment to come and see us. We were very impressed with his approach. He
seemed very presentable and very trustworthy and genuine. So, that goes for a lot. I also looked online
at some of the case studies on his website and everybody seems impressed with what he does."

“Everything happened very swiftly once we decided, I mean within a couple of weeks. After the initial
approach Ray came back and measured up, made some suggestions. We visited a bathroom supplier
he recommended. We went back and forth to make our choices, and he was most helpful. He brought
his fitter on one occasion and that made the process much easier. Ray then came up with an estimate,
which we were happy with."

“Four weeks later they started work and everyone was so courteous. The workmen were all very clean
and tidy, cleaning up at the end of each day. Obviously, you get quite a bit of dust, but it wasn’t a
hassle. They were all very approachable guys, and they talked to us about what they were doing. We
were happy to leave them in the house on their own, they were all trustworthy guys."

“Everyone was very efficient. Even the guys who came in and tore everything apart, you know, they
were very conscientious. The bathroom is upstairs and down our stairwell, we've a load of pictures
hung. The first thing they did, the guy said: ‘I've taken all your pictures down and stacked them in the
back bedroom for you. He said, because we didn't want to knock them off the wall, just to be on the
safe side.’ That’s the sort of guys you've got, it's fantastic. And all the rubbish was stacked neatly
outside in a big hippo bag, and they tidied everything up every night."

“I mean for example, we had the decorator come in to finish off at the end of the day and while he did
the bathroom, he spotted a crack and he filled that and touched up around light switches on the landing
and a bit of wall between two doors. He was happy to do it while he was there and made it look nice.
They didn’t have to do that."

“The finished bathroom is fantastic; it is absolutely gorgeous, and we’ve definitely been having more
showers. It is so different. We've gone for a dark color which looks amazing. And one of the brilliant
things which Ray recommended for us was lights fitted to a sensor; so if you get up during the night,
these soft lights go on when you walk in the bathroom, the lights are under the sink plinth, which come
on as you walk in so you can see what you're doing without turning the main light on."

“I say it's a very sort of immersive project with Ray involved at every stage, and he's always on the end
of the phone or email if you need any help. And at my stage of life, I don't want to have somebody
come in and make a poor job that you regret for the rest of your days. You want somebody who's going
to come in and you know he is going to do a good job, and Ray is that guy, he will do a good job.
“One of the things that impressed me the most about him was the way he did his estimates. He
estimated every single thing that you needed and costed it so you could see exactly what you were
paying for. So even from putting up a towel rail or soap dish or whatever you wanted, he said you can
do this, and that's going to cost you so much"

“Previously, when we had the bathroom done several years ago, we had a guy come in to give an
estimate who looked around and said: ‘Oh yeah, that'll be 10 grand’, With Ray every single thing is
detailed, so you know exactly what you're getting, what you're paying for, and what it costs. It may not
be the cheapest, but you get what you pay for at the end of the day and i would rather pay for quality
and professional workmanship."
